Rap isn’t music. It’s a culture. A pitiful one, yet still a culture. Saggin’ pants, flat-brimmed hats and wearing stupid looks on your face is the new way to look cool. It doesn’t appeal to me, but to each (moron) their own.

I know this has been said many times before, but rap is truly the epitemy of stupidity. Why anyone would want to listen to it, I don’t know. Sure, there is probably some decent rap out there. BUT I DON’T CARE TO HEAR IT! I prefer music with decent tonal qualities and lyrics that aren’t totally slanderizing. Rap has caused a great change in society, and, especially, today’s youth. Today’s youth do not know who the greats Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton are. What has this world come to?

For those who agree with me, help “redeem” the world. For those who don’t, go back to trying to be the most popular kid on the block.

Ok, I know that horse racing isn’t all a bunch of rich guys betting (and losing) large sums of money. I understand that many people race horses as a sport, and an ethical one at that. What I can’t stand, however, is cases like Eight Belles and Big Brown. I have absolutely no interest in horse racing as a commercial venture, but I do think it would be fun to ride. Mankind, hear me out. Quit screwing up the rest of the life on earth.

Once upon a time, in a very messed-up world, things got on people’s nerves. I know this sounds hard to believe, but it really did happen. Common Sense is here not to fix these things, but to stand by and watch them escalate until mankind has destroyed itself and its environment. Check back every so often and maybe we will shed some light on some everyday issues and “stupids.”
